滞在アーティストの紹介です。沢山いるので一気に行きましょう。Here is an introduction to the resident artists. There are many, aren't there?

キムさんは韓国から天神山にやって来た画家さんで、長期滞在しながら作品を制作中。Kim-san is a painter who came from Korea and is currently creating artworks while on a long-term stay.
そして、杉本さん・ラルフさん・ステファンさん・綿引さんはドイツに在住なんですが、今回、札幌の展示の為に来日。北海道教育大学の施設であるHUGで展示が行われています。And Sugimoto-san and the other three are residents of Germany, and they have come to Sapporo this time for the exhibition. The exhibition is taking place at a location called HUG, which is a facility of Hokkaido University of Education.

そして展示には、天神山アートスタジオの常連さんでもある長坂さんも参加しております。And the exhibition also includes Nagasaka-san, who is a regular at Tenjinzan Art Studio!!
写真に一緒に映っていたキムさんも展示を見に行ったようで、展示だけでなく建物も面白かったとの事。札幌軟石の倉庫を改築したもので、場所自体も結構楽しめるんですよね。Kim-san, who is seen together in the photo, also went to see this exhibition and mentioned that not only the artworks but also the building itself was interesting.The venue for the exhibition is a renovated warehouse made of Sapporo soft stone, so the location itself is quite enjoyable.

というか、真ん中にいるラルフさん、実は今回が2回目の天神山アートスタジオなんですが、1回目やって来たのが2018年に起きた北海道胆振東部地震の前日だったんですよね。地震後のブラックアウトの様子をカメラを持って撮影しに行っていたのを思い出しました。5年経ってまた帰って来たラルフ、こんなアーティスト達の歴史があるのもアーティスト・イン・レジデンスの良さですね。This is the second time Ralf, in the middle of the photo, has stayed at Tenjinyama Art Studio; the first time he came was the day before the Hokkaido earthquake that hit in 2018.I remember after the earthquake he had gone to take pictures of the city. Five years have passed since then, and Ralf came again. The history of various artists is another good thing about the artist-in-residence program.
