現在、日本各地の様々なコミュニティを取材して回っています。
This is Drian Cave who has been to Tenjinyama many times before.
He is french writer and his mother is English and he lives in China.
Currently he is researching various communities around Japan.
英語・フランス語・中国語と少しの日本語を操るドリアン。
「これ、お土産です」といって、名古屋の八丁味噌まんじゅうと、この写真の木のプレートをくれました。
彼が重い荷物を担いで、日本国内を回っている最中
たまたまヒッチハイクで乗せてくれた方が、せっかくだからとこれをプレゼントしてくれたそうです。
He speaks English, French, Chinese and Japanese.
He brought us some souvenirs which are Manju and the plate of wood.
When he was traveling around Japan with heavy baggage,
One guy picked up him and gave heavy plate for souvenirs.
受け取って見ると、結構重いんです。
彼はその後も、この重いプレゼントをカバンに入れて移動をしていたとの事。
厚意が時に人を苦しめてしまう素敵な例ですね。
ともかく、元気にやって来たドリアン。
これから、稚内や知床へ自転車で行ってみたいとの事。
無事、行けるといいんですが。
This plate is so heavy.
Dorian got this souvenir with pleasure and put it in his bag.
Kindness can sometimes end up hurting a person.
Anyway, Dorian plans to go to Wakkanai and Shiretoko by bicycle.
