台湾のレジデンスSoulangh Cultural Parkとの連携で天神に滞在したLin Szu Chunによる展示「Spatial Writing of the Lifescape in Sapporo City / 札幌日常生活地景之空間書寫」が12/18まで開催されています。
初日の11/29には、Lin自身と、同時期に滞在したIvan, Aliceの送別を兼ねたオープニングトーク&ディナーイベントを開催しました。中国から来ているLiさんも交え、メインディッシュは手作り餃子。ホットプレートからもうもうと上がる湯気の中、台湾での活動から、札幌でのプロジェクトまで一連の活動と背景にあるコンセプトを紹介しました。
彼は一滞在者として都市を放浪しながら、その足跡をドローイングを用いて視覚化します。「専門家が作る俯瞰図ばかりが地図ではない。それぞれの視点による多様な地図がありえることを示したい」と語りました。

11/29, at the first day, we had opening talk and farewell dinner for Lin. It was also for Ivan and Alice who were staying at same term. With Li from China we cooked hand made dumpling for main dish. In lots of steam he was introducing his activities from Taiwan to project in Sapporo with its concept.
He wonders around city as a visiter. Then he visualizes those tracings by his drawing. "Bird view maps by scholars are not all of map. I want to show that we can make various maps based on diversity."
