8月のArt&Breakfast、食卓にはサルサソースの蒸し鶏や肉巻き、黄色のスイカなどなど、目にも鮮やかなお料理が並びました。天神山からはオフィス横の小さな畑に茂ったバジルでジェノベーゼソースのパスタを。ボーノボーノ。
アーティストトークはオーストラリアのミュージシャン、自身が演じる映像もマルチにこなすSui Zhen（スー チェン）ことBeckyが担当。Sui Zhenはマレーシアの血を引くBeckyの中国語名。彼女はそこからSusan（スーザン）という仮想のキャラクターを作り、映像作品まで一貫した演出をすることで、インターネット社会でのアイデンティティの流動性や、80年代90年代の典型的なイメージを現代の自分が再現（いわゆるシュミラクル）することで生まれる違和感を示し、それを作品の構成要素としています。
最新作「こっそりスーザン」は本国オーストラリアではLPレコードで発売中。日本でも9月にCDが発売されます。また、8月27日には札幌のラウンジ、PROVOのイベントに参加するとのことです。

The artist talk was by an Australian musician Becky a.k.a Sui Zhen. who is multidisciplinary artist. She acts and edit by herself in her music video works. A part of her name Sui Zhen is from her Malaysian mother. Through making imaginal character Susan, she implies fluidity identity in recent internet society, and express so called "uncanny valley" from replicated typical image of 80's and 90's by the present herself. Her works consist from those concepts like simulacra.
The new piece "Secret Susan" has already came out in Australia as LP record. And also in Japan, CD version will be published on coming September. On 8/27 she is going to act at the lounge event at PROVO in Sapporo.
