オーストラリア生まれ、イギリス育ちのシャルロッテ・ムーアさんです。
彼女はチェルシー美術学校、ファルマス芸術大学で美術を学び、卒業後は絵画と陶芸を教えていました。
Charlotte Moore was born in Australia and grew up in London. She studied fine art at Chelsea School of Art and at Falmouth College of Art and going on to teach painting and ceramics part time.
札幌滞在中は能を見に行ったり、美術館、神社等々様々な場所を訪れ、
その中で目に留まったいくつかを作品にしました。
During her stay in Tenjinyama, she went to see the Noh play, visit some museum, shrine etc. She painted some pictures on the theme that she found in Sapporo.
「広告」や「お寺」「雪囲い」といった我々にとっては日常の風景ですが、
彼女の目線を通じてあらためて取り立ててみると魅力があるように思えます。
"Advertisement","temple"and"Snow Shelter" are everyday scenery for us,but It's interesting when we look at it again.
彼女の作品は11月12日(日)までさっぽろ天神山アートスタジオ1階展示スペースでご覧いただけます。
