アメリカ出身で、今はニュージーランドで暮らしているLinden。もりもりと制作をしているということで、仕事場の滞在スタジオを取材させてもらいました。
テーブルの上にはコラージュの素材がごっそり。日本ではおなじみのカラフルなマスキングテープも。
よく見ると素材はただ糊付けで重ねられているのではなく、丁寧に縫い合わされています。カメラもフィルムやポラロイド、日本で見つけたというトイカメラなど、こだわりの品々。それらが詰まったバックパックも味わい深い一品で、スタイルを追求している印象のLindenでした。

Linden who lives in New Zealand is originally from U.S. So she makes works a lot, I went to her studio for posting a report.
So many materials for collage on the table. And color tapes that are familiar to we Japanese.
When I see them closely, I figure them out that they were not only glued materials, but also elaborately sawed. Her cameras were quite special.
