毎週水曜日定例のスタッフとアーティストの夕食を囲んだミーティング。
今日はWilliam&Dianaのコロンビア料理が出ました。おそらく誰にも初めてだったのではないでしょうか。黄色いお団子状の一品、名前は"Papas Rellena（パパス レジェーナ）"。rellenaは詰め物という意味のようですが、じゃが芋を茹で崩したものを生地にし、ピラフのように野菜と炒めたお米を包み、さらに卵をまぶして油で揚げるという、なんとも手の込んだ料理です。
「僕らの街Caliでは、もうそこら中でPapas Rellenaを食べているよ」とのことでした。
もう一品は焼いたバナナの上にラタトゥーユのようなトマトペーストがのったもの。
成果発表へ向けたミーティングの後は、こたつを囲んでくつろぎのひと時。
Weekly meeting on Wednesday among staff and resident.
Today we had Colombian dishes by William and Diana. It might be for the first time to everyone. Yellow one is named "Papas Rellena". Rellena means filling something. Firstly they boiled and mashed potatoes, then fill fried rice include vegetables. At last they did egg coating and frying. It seems much elaborated dish.
"In my home town Cali, everybody eats Papas Rellena" he said.
Another one is tomato paste on roasted banana.
After meeting to plan result presentation, they were chilling around "Kotatsu"(Japanese foot warmer).
