到着から2週間、白老など北海道でのリサーチを経て、Williamも実制作に入ってきた模様です。

主にランドスケープやその土地のものを扱う彼、和紙をちぎって作っているのは山並みでしょうか。

網状に組み合わされているのは、木の皮を割いたもの。先日は埋蔵文化センターで、縄文土器について質問をしていたWilliam、この網も縄文土器のような形に編み上げたいそうです。本人曰く「湖が干上がった時のような」イメージとのこと。どちらも繊細なつくりが印象的でした。

「これ、コロンビアの音楽だよ」

BGMに流れているのは、コロンビアを南北に流れるマグダレナ川の周辺の音楽のコンピレーション。その土地その土地で全然違う音楽なんだと、話してくれました。

 

Since his arrival, it has been 2 weeks. He has done research include Shiraoi, then he is in work now.

He deals with mainly landscape and things from the land. Those torn Japanese papers look like mountain. 

A web structure consists of torn tree's skin. He was asking about earthenware in the museum. He wants to turn web into form of Jomon earthenware. He said it's like dried lake. Both was elaborated.

"This is Colombian music."

BGM was compilation album whose tunes were from various places on Magdarena River that acroses Colombia from north to south. He told me about each different styles.
