同時期に茨城で開催されていた県北芸術祭を訪ねたスタッフが、中崎透さんの作品「看板屋なかざき」を取材しました。
会場は常陸多賀駅前の商店街空き店舗。上は店舗入り口に構える、茨城の県北の各市町をサイン化した作品です。
下の白地のサインは、統廃合によって無くなった市町を含んだサイン。中崎さんの幼少にはこれらの町はまだ存在していたとのことでした。

At same time a staff of Tenjin went to Ibaraki to see Kenpoku Art Festival. At there he watched Nakazaki's current works "Signmaker NAKAZAKI".
They were exhibited at a closed down shop in front of Hitachi Taga station. Above works are in the entrance of the shop and are featured towns's names in northern Ibaraki. Below white based work included towns which have been abolished or merged. In artist's childhood those towns were still remain.
