Timはフィクション作家で、現在はヤングアダルト向けの三部作を執筆中。テーマを聞くと「世界の終わり、この文明の終わりの話だ」とのこと。さらに、悲観的、楽観的、どんな見地から書いているか尋ねてみましたが、それはさすがに瞬時に答えるのは難しい様子。そんなあなたに、ということで、たまたまオフィスにあったナウシカの原作コミックと英語の要約を渡してみました。
Justineの執筆はTimによればよりアカデミックで、大学で現代のパフォーミングアーツ理論を教えているとのことです。
二人は10/17までの長期滞在です。
Justine and Tim, Australian writer couple stay in Tenjin. Tim is a fiction writer and is writing a trilogy for young adults now. "The end of this world. The end of this civilization." He answered about the theme of them. Then I asked more that from what viewpoint is written. But he seemed hard to answer immediately. I rent the original comics of "Nausica of the valley of the wind" and its English summary, so there were in the office coincidently.
According to Tim's word, Justine's works are more academic. In an university she teaches theory of contemporary performing arts apparently.
Their long visit is until 10/17.
