"Just a joint, it is."

His talk has begun in the office. While more than ten years he had been making order made wood furnitures, then his present style turns into sculptures which use a joint of wood apparently.

"In my creation, as a theme I have been taking death from sides life and death. But after moving out from Fukushima to Yamanashi I am turning into life side. There are two kinds of joints in fact. Life joint and death joint. Which we see usually in wood are life joints. Until the middle point of growth term of tree all of joints are life joints, but these are changing to death joints from when tree stop its blooming. Because of the tree doesn't need nutrition any more. Death joint is incline to be rotten because it can be absorbed wanter in slit to bole easily. To trees, it's kind of decease or injury. Since trees are very pure as life, to protect against from water they secrete sap as oil to there. Then inside of joints getting black. This black is outcome of their pain and suffering in which they want to live more. It's alike we human get something inwardly stronger when we wanted to carry injury, pain or suffering through."
