It doesn't much great. But there are many specialized books of the arts, rare exhibition documents and the like in the library of Tenjinyama AS. We can't see it in normal libraries or bookstores. Also, there are works of artists who acted at

here and picture books which were used in the project "Sapporo picture book association" of last Sapporo International Art Festival.

I asked to a recent resident Heinz about the book of Rudolf Steiner "Essence of colors". I have checked that it was in the library. The author was from Austria as same as Heinz and was a mystic, religionist. He is known for his method "Steiner education" in Japan.

Taiga "Did Steiner do study of Goethe before, didn't he? I've heard that Goethe is renowned by his novel Faust and the like, but his master piece was "Color theory" in fact. Some writers say that the science aspect of Goethe was progressive even more than modern. How European artists are influenced from his ideas?

Heinz "So Goethe's idea didn't much fit to Newton, it couldn't become popular. As you can see, Newton was just not wrong. But I think in also music, there are geniuses outside of popular music, like in Jazz or among more poor musicians?"

T "That's true. Recently I'm reading the dialogue by Joseph Beuys and Michael Ende, and surprised that they both were influenced from Steiner strongly even in 1970's. But it feels like little bit too much Germanistic."

H"Ahh, that's the Germany rich literature history. Goethe, Schiller, Nietzsche, Steiner… He had also some problems but at least Steiner might be one of the greatest mystic of 20th century. "

The idea "Social sculpture" by Joseph Beuys which was influenced from Steiner. For it was one of keyword in last Sapporo International Art Festival, such a tradition of unpopular mysticism still being around us than I expect, I guess.
